time passing highspeed
Time goes by.. highspeed I must say. It looks only yesterday when I flew the Warrior first-time and checking my logbook I am almost 30 hours further. This also implies the exciting highlight of the approaching exam... waahh.. The lessons I did in the past few days were way more strictly then before; minor (and major) mistakes or miscalculations were excellent feed to make me look like a complete idiot, not being able to perform the most easy operations or procedures. Debriefings consisted from long lists with errors and points of attention to work on, which is ofcourse only.. very good towards the exam.. :)
Last week my nephew Roy performed as my first IR passenger. Since the evil flying virus also has infected him, this was a nice opportunity for him to see how one can struggle during a student IR trip. As some people can easily get sick on such a ride (bumpy, partly IMC, heavy duty landings.. ) Roy proved to be an airborne man and rather enjoyed the flight :) Here he is, imagine that a few years later as student-pilot, would not look bad at all I guess.

Our tiny little Piper Warrior behind some business turbo-props at Eelde Airport.

A student pilot VERY focussed on all that he is doing Like Franky said..: relax, dont do it.....!
